Chapter 3: Chaos & Discord

Sonic and his crew were en route to the next chaos emerald.
Tails: All right the next place is... mobatropolis, hopefully this one will be easy.
Apple Jack: Easy how, like it bein buried somewhere.
Pinkie: OOhh like a treasure hunt!
Tails: Well yeah!
Rarity: That sounds easy since I know a spell to find buried gems.
Rouge: Really a spell huh I might have to hang out with you some time.
Knuckles: why so you can use her as a living jewel detector.
Rouge: How dare you assume something like that I would never stoop so low.
Knuckles: Funny you’ve already stooped lower than that.
Rouge: Watch it knuckle head!
Shadow: I still can’t grasp this, Equestria is not on Mobius?
Tails: It’s another world like Earth.
Sonic: Just like Scourge, he comes from an alternate Mobius.
Rainbow Dash: Scourge!? Who’s that?
Sonic: He’s an evil me from another world. He wants to rule the multiverse so he traveled world-to-world trying to conquer but we stopped him at Mobius prime.
Twilight: He sounds bad. Hope we never run into him.
Sonic: That’s unlikely, last I heard he was in Zone Prison.
Tails: Ah here we are.
He lands the ship and Rarity storms out to use her spell.
Rarity: We shall make this search quick with this spell follow me.
Pinkie: All right treasure hunt time!
Amy: This path seems familiar.
They follow her until she suddenly stops.
Rarity: A-ha! In there.
Tails: Oh that’s why the location looked familiar.
Amy: Creams’ house.
She walks up and knocks on the door.
Cream: Hello, Oh! Amy I was about to try and get in touch with you.
Amy: Why?
Cream: I found a chaos emerald!
Rarity: Really where?
Cream: Who are you?
They explain why they are there and introductions. Then Cream goes to get the chaos emerald.
Cream: Here you go.
Amy: thanks.
Cream: Can I come with please, please, pleeaasse.
Amy: Fine, fine you can come.
They headed back to the cyclone and took off. Later.
Tails: The next location is uh oh...
Shadow: What uh oh?
Sonic: What’s the matter?
Tails: Seems like we are going to pay Eggman a visit.
Sonic: Well let’s go get the rest and we’ll get that 1 later.
Tails: That’s the problem... He has the last 3 emeralds.
Pinkie: There’s a living egg here? And you thought our world was weird.
Shadow: Ugh!!! He’s not an egg, he’s barely a man.
Sonic: He’s an evil scientist named Dr. Robotnik. We call him eggman cause he shaped like an egg. Half his inventions now carry egg in their name cause of that nickname. Talk about a lack of imagination.
Rainbow: So you’re scared of a fat guy with weird egg named inventions?
Sonic: Well I’ve defeated him many times but he has a fortress guarded by many robots and weapons. Not easy to just barge in even for yours truly. We usually have well thought out plans, or just go with the flow.
Rouge: It usually isn’t too hard for me to break in.
Amy: Yeah it’s easy when you’ve been on his payroll before.
Twilight: You worked for the egg man?
Rouge: Who me? No we just worked together when it was mutually beneficial.
Shadow: But she does know her way around his fortress. We should send in a distraction team while a smaller team sneaks in and take the emeralds.
Sonic: Wait. I’m in charge here. I say we rush in and I will swoop in and take them.
Shadow: Ugh. Idiot his defenses are mostly set up to keep you out. Me too unfortunately so, we both need to play distraction. Rouge take...
Rarity: Me. With my jewel locator spell I can lead her straight to them.
Shadow: Okay?! You will need some power as well though. He’s to use to all of us.
Twilight: I can go. My magic should be able to protect them.
Rainbow: My speed will be invaluable. He may be used to you but I can fly as well.
Pinkie: And I’ll sneak in to cause I have the element of surprise!
Shadow: No! You can do anything but that.
Pinkie: But why?
Rainbow: Well you’re not quite the sneaky type you’ll blow our cover.
Pinkie: Then I’ll plan the noisiest distraction ever!
Shadow: Ugh!
Pinkie: Wait what will Fluttershy do?
Fluttershy: What me oh I’ll stay here and... hold down the fort.
Pinkie: This is a ship silly and it’s not going anywhere.
Tails: She can stay here with me to man the monitors. The smaller your party, the better your success rate.
Fluttershy: Right what he said!
Amy: All right the team for the emerald snatching is Rarity, Rouge, Twilght, and Rainbow how about the distraction.
Shadow: I’ll have to go.
Sonic: Fine but I still think my plan was way better.  
Pinkie: oh oh oh me to!
Knuckles: I’ll come to.
Amy: The teams all set.
Rouge leads the infiltration team around the back and hold position. The distraction team marches toward the Egg fortress front door. Eggman releases his strongest bots at the distraction team.
Sonic: Charge!
Shadow: Chaos spear!
Pinkie: Good thing I never leave home without my party cannon.
Knuckles: Where did that come from?
Sonic: I don’t know but she’s turning Eggman’s forces into cannon fodder.
Meanwhile in back, Rouge sneaks her team in a secret hidden entrance.
Rouge: This way! Look out for booby traps. There are turrets and security droids all over.
Twilight: I’ll redirect the cameras to avoid detection as long as possible.
Rainbow: And as for the droids I can take’em.
Rarity: I sense them in that direction.
Rouge: That’s likely but there’s a chance he’ll be in with them.
Rainbow: Than we need to get him out with a distraction any volunteers?
Rouge: I’m the only one he knows. I will lead him out. You guys hide then snatch them while he chases me.
Twilight: I will use my cloaking spell to mask our appearance from him and his bots.
Rainbow: All right let’s go!
Rouge sneaks in.
Eggman: Rouge! How did you get in here!? Of course, this attack was a distraction.
Rouge: Oh no! I’m found out. I’ve got to get out of here.
Eggman: Get back here. If I get my hands on you.
He chases Rouge.
Twilight: All right it’s working come on Rainbow.
They walk in and get the chaos emeralds. An alarm sounds alerting security drones to their location.
Rainbow: It’s all right guys, I’ll get us out of here!
Rainbow bursts through the drones and speeds toward the exit clearing a path for the others.
Twilight: Rarity you carry the gems...
Rarity: With pleasure!
Twilight: I will keep them off us.
She pushes back any droids still reaching for them.
Twilight: I see the exit here we go!
Rainbow raced back grabbed them and sped toward the exit.
Rainbow: You guys are taking too long.
Rarity: Whew finally we escaped!
They head toward the ship, meanwhile Rouge finds her way to the front entrance.
Rouge: Guys mission accomplished!
Sonic rounds up all the robots that are still attacking them in a small twister. Chaos blast! Shadow blew them right into the entrance as Eggman was exiting.    
Eggman: I’ll get you hedgehogs and your horse friends too!
Pinkie: Hey we are PONIES you you you man egg!
They loaded up in the ship and departed for the spot the ponies appeared on Mobius. Tails was convinced that would be the best spot to attempt a return trip.
Back in Equestria, the villains learned that Celestia was soon returning. They planned her an unforgettable welcome party.
Celestia: Oh my! What happened to my Queendom?
Luna: Sister in here! Come to the throne room quick!
She enters to find Luna in front of the thrones.
Celestia: What is it dear sister?
Luna: This hedgehog claims to know where Twilight Sparkle is.
A small green hedgehog crawls in. As Celestia stares confused, Scourge speeds in and put a magic dampening collar on her. Just then Luna changed to Nightmare Moon and stood up. The villains surrounded her. Celestia tried to warp away but the collar prevented it.
Nightmare Moon: Welcome back dear sister.
Celestia: Luna no!
Nightmare Moon: Correct Luna is no more. Nightmare Moon has returned. May night reign forever.
Celestia: No! So you really don’t know what happened to Twilight Sparkle and her friends?
Scourge: Actually we do. They were magically transported to our world. I suspect they’ll be back soon. We should prepare for their arrival.
Chrysalis: No offense but if they are bringing allies as well, are you sure we can beat them.
Mephiles: My dear, Alliance is power and we will have the element of surprise. They don’t know we are here and they don’t know the 6 of us have joined forces.
Nightmare Moon: Yes but with those blasted elements of harmony they may have an advantage.
Ixis: You mean these? After we did our homework, I decided it best to take these.
Sombra: Excellent! Now they don’t stand a chance.
Scourge: They still have 1 chance, the chaos emeralds. No doubt that will be there source to return here.
Nightmare Moon: You know Discord once corrupted the elements of harmony.
Ixis: I will not release that imbecile!
Nightmare Moon: I was merely suggesting that we could possibly do it again.
Ixis: I see. This crystal that I sealed discord in should do it.
Ixis cast a spell of corruption on the elements of harmony using discords power.
Ixis: I present to you the elements of Discord;
Chrysalis – Deceit
Mephiles – cruelty
Ixis – sorrow
Sombra – selfish
Scourge – treachery
Nightmare Moon – Dark magic
They stood in awe, Astonished at what the mage did.
Mephiles: This is a good start but we need more of edge. Even with the element of surprise we need a plan.
Scourge: I’ve been talking to Nightmare Moon and think I’ve come up with 1.
